About Making Waves
The Blog:
Making Waves is a blog dedicated to fostering change, in our community and around the world. We will be covering a broad range of topics including:
- Politics
- Human rights
- Environmental stewardship
- Going Green
- Organic movement
- Slow food
- Community
- Sustainability
- Economics
- pretty much anything else vaguely related to any of this that catches my interest
and we will hopefully do so in a way that is coherent and interesting. Constructive comments, both positive and negative, are welcome. Unhelpful posts such as “you suck” and “that’s a bunch of nonsense” or ruder varieties thereof are a waste of everybody’s time, including the poster’s. If you disagree, tell us why.

My name is Willa, and I am a young Canadian with a lot of opinions about everything. I like long walks on the beach, interesting literature, and yelling at television commercials with content or continuity flaws (and yes, I know the television can’t actually hear me.)
